St. John's is a Special School for children with a Mild General Learning Disability.
St. John’s School is a co-educational Primary and Post Primary Special School under the auspices of the Department
of Education and Science and the Patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Waterford and Lismore.It is managed by a local
Board of Management. The School caters for students assessed with a Mild General Learning Disability who are aged
from 4-18 years.
Catchment Area
Dungarvan town and its’ surrounding areas as far as Youghal in East Cork and Tallow in West Waterford.
School Transport
School Transport is provided by Bus Eireann, and financed by the Department of Education.
